EU foreign ministers have issued a visa ban for 31 Belarusian officials as a sanction following last month's rigged elections in the country
The entry ban was rubber-stamped by foreign ministers meeting in Luxembourg on Monday (10 April), after an agreement by EU ambassadors last week.
The list of 31 people to be targeted by the measure is topped by Belarusian president Alexander Lukaschenko, and includes ministers, ideology and media chiefs, judges and election officials.
