European distrust of US grows

A new poll has shown that the US is being viewed ever more unfavourably in the big three EU countries - the UK, France and Germany.

The survey - conducted by the Pew Research Centre in Washington - shows that the French, Germans and British think considerably less favourably of America than they did at the end of US military intervention in Iraq.
